Frequently Asked Questions

Preparing for your Session:

During our tarot session, I’m here to help you connect with your inner wisdom and gain new perspectives or traction for the present moment. Together, we’ll create a space for you to be listened to and explore your own deep listening. Our session will be a collaborative and conversational process.

Before your reading, you may want to consider a problem/question/focus to guide the session. We can spend the beginning of the session exploring what your current needs are and what support looks like at the present moment. Examples of open-ended questions may be: What does care look like right now? How can I tend to myself? What is a teacher/mentor/guide for this time? What does support look like or what would be helpful to consider around the current decision I’m making? What is an invitation of something for me to focus on during this season?

If you do not have a specific inquiry, we may consider pulling cards around the question: What would best support me right now? Then, we can explore what wisdom and medicine the cards bring forward as an invitation for reflection. I will shuffle and pull cards from my customized curated tarot deck. Each reading is completely unique and individual. I strive for your session to feel empowering, so we will explore the messages in constructive ways (while releasing any outdated, traditional, or problematic views of the cards). Each tarot card will “ask” powerful questions, and you are always encouraged to ask me your own!

At times, the most potent clarity may come after a reading, as you embody the wisdom of each card or archetype, in the days and weeks following. Often the session may be an invitation or catalyst to bring forth new perspectives or clarity, rather than an “answer” at the time of the reading. Journaling, walking, resting, drinking water, or listening to healing music may be ways for you to integrate some of the wisdom that came forward from yourself or your cards during the session

By purchasing and/or participating in  a reading, you affirm that you have read and agree to the following Ethics and Policies.

Ethics and Policies

I strive to create a space for you to be fully seen and heard without judgment.

I welcome all clients regardless of race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender identity, or ability.

I honor my client’s privacy and keep all sessions completely confidential. You are welcome to share about your readings, including pictures (please credit or tag me in the photo), but I will not share any private photos or readings without your express permission.

I use a mindfulness-based tarot reading approach. My readings are non-predictive (which means I do not read to predict the future), do not give information about other people, do not address matters of health and do not use yes/no questions. We will explore your unique “Hero’s Journey” and invite in your inner knowing, sovereignty, common sense and critical thinking.

Tarot readings are intended as a springboard for mindful reflection, growth and self-discovery. These services are not a replacement for professional psychological, medical, financial or legal advice–please consult an expert when necessary. Tarot can be a supportive tool for self-reflection and following guidelines in some states include this statement: that tarot readings are for entertainment purposes only.
